YOUR knowledge of the truth...
My husband and I often find ourselves completing various remodeling projects, whether it’s at home, a real estate property that we own, or for a client. When doing so we love to sit down and mentally visualize the layout of every detail. I imagine it one way, he imagines it slightly differently.
Yet I noticed, almost 95% of the time the end result is never exactly as either of us mentally projected it to look like. Yes, it’s very close to the original blue print, however the mental picture and the physically executed results are not one and the same.
So, it is with most Biblical truths. God has provided his word (Biblical truths) for us to use as a guide in life. When we first become familiar with them, we somewhat imagine or project what they mean and how to apply them. Yet, it’s not until after we lived out and personally experienced those truths, are we better able to interpret what they actually mean and receive God’s perspective on that matter.

You begin to see things from a different angle.
I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does take place, you may believe and have faith [in Me]. (John 14:29 Amp)
Each truth has two sides, the side you first envision, and the side you see after you experienced it.
It usually follows with an “Ohhhh, that’s what that verse meant” kind of moment.
And so you cancel the word of God in order to hand down your own tradition. And this is only one example among many others. (Mark 7:13 NLT)
It can only minister to you if you have your own experience of it.
…And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32 KJV)
The biblical synonym “to know” is to observe and experience.
“Let us never forget that such a truth as this cannot be learned by rote as one would learn the facts of physical science. They must be experienced before we can really know them.” -A.W. Tozer
